Abstract

The present systematic review investigated the efficacy and safety of percutaneous transluminal angioplasty (PTA) with drug-eluting balloon catheters (DEB) versus PTA with conventional uncoated balloon catheters (UCB) in the more peripheral arterial occlusive disease of various vascular regions (supplying the brain arteries, arteries of the upper extremities, visceral arteries, renal arteries, arteries of the lower extremities).
